Multimedia Presentations
Overview
Below I have featured several multimedia presentations I have during my first year at Pennsylvania State University along with information regarding the nature of each piece.
Podcast- "I Believe in Laughter"
For my LA 101 H class I had written and recorded a short segment that states a personal belief of mine. The set up of my podcast came from a community's long-running NPR segment called, "This I Believe." In this podcast I speak of how a personal belief of mine, laughter, has become an important part of my life. My speech explores how the ability to laugh and find humor during difficult times has became a paramount belief throughout my years in school.

Motivational Speech- "The Problem With Puppy Mills"
My motivational speech for LA 101 H called attention to practice of puppy mill farming. Since few individuals are aware of the multiple affects of puppy mill farming, the purpose of my motivational speech was to alert the audience to ways that puppy mill farming personally impacts their lives. Throughout the presentation I made use of ethos, pathos, and logos to better engage my audience in the topic I was presenting.
